Getting a link to your blog listed on T-Central is easy. Here are the guidelines.
Your blog is open to the public and active
Your blog must be accessible to the general public, not private or restricted. As well, the blog should be updated at least periodically.Your blog is at least 30 days old
If you have just started a blog, keep writing! We look forward to what you have to say, but we want to make sure that a blog has some "staying power" before we publish a link.Your blog does not violate T-Central community standards
T-Central exists to provide an opportunity for those considering themselves transgenders, transvestites, crossdressers, genderqueers, drag queens, transsexuals, etc., as well as their partners, spouses, and family members, to seek greater exposure, education, and community. We consider any of the following content, either in the blog itself or linked from the blog, to be unacceptable:- Contains abuse of, harassment of, stalking of, or threats to a person or persons
- Is libelous, defamatory, knowingly false, or that knowingly misrepresents another person
- Infringes upon any copyright, trademark, trade secret, or patent of any third party. (If you quote or excerpt someone's content, it is your responsibility to provide proper attribution to the original author. For a clear definition of proper attribution and fair use, please see The Electronic Frontier Foundation's Legal Guide for Bloggers at this URL: http://www.eff.org/bloggers/lg/.)
- Violates any obligation of confidentiality
- Contains hardcore pornography
The T-Central administrators and authors use these guidelines, as well as our own judgment, to determine unacceptable content on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change these standards at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to remove links to any content at any time.
We welcome your help upholding these community guidelines. If you are concerned about any content you see on sites listed on T-Central that you think violates our guidelines, we invite you to contact us. Thank you for working with us to create a great environment for our community.
Ariel,
ReplyDeleteYes, probably 'Salad Bingo'. I love Diana's postings. She's an excellent communicator and full of what feels like innate wisdom. I suspect I will find a lot more wisdom and people with whom I can relate intimately as I start making rounds through the listings you all have here on T-Central. Thanks to everyone there for being such a great resource for us and people who perhaps seek to better understand us. :-)
Stacey
God I love reading these comments :)
ReplyDeleteThe site's really become what I envisioned. Thanks y'all for keeping the flow!
Lori
It will always be Lori's T-Central in my mind, girl!
ReplyDeleteCalie xxx
Any chance I can get a link to my blog- www.xanga.com/mooshpitmatt
ReplyDeleteThanks
M
Hi, M. I just added a link to our list. Always good to have a new perspective here!
ReplyDeleteDo you think my Trans Box blog would be a good addition? If yes, please post the link http://trans-wars.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI must be losing it, girl! I thought I had added this one some time ago. WRONG! It's on the list now...
ReplyDeleteCalie xxx
New to T-central - would love to get some comments on my blog
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah! Got you listed!
ReplyDeleteJust a note: Commenting on other blogs will tend to draw others to your blog.
Calie xxx
Hi Callie,
ReplyDeleteThis comment roll in itself is a wonderful resource. If I may, I'd like to contribute to the list with one more:
<a href="http://neutrois.wordpress.com>http://neutrois.wordpress.com</a>
Thanks so much for putting all of this together!
Maddox
Hi Maddox! Yes, never thought of this comment roll in that way. There are some very good bloggers on the list, and your blog is now one of them. I've also added you to my own personal blog reading list.
ReplyDeleteCalie xxx
Hi Calie, Ariel, Halle
ReplyDeleteWould you let my new blog be a part of this?
Kathryn
http://facevaluereprt.blogspot.com/
The new blog is live, Kathryn. It's really a continuation, so we'll consider it having been around for more than 30 days. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Calie
ReplyDeleteI have moved my blog from:
http://femimage.com/blog/
to
http://femimage.wordpress.com
Please update your link to it.
Thanks - Denae
Hey Denae! Got it changed.
ReplyDeleteCalie xx
I like the new layout with the news links and other stuff on the right side. However I think it's time to clean out the blog list and delete the oldest blogs that were abandoned long ago, eh?
ReplyDeleteLori, we routinely check on old blogs. Those that have relavent content - hitory, if you will - that can help others, remain on the list.
ReplyDeleteWhat I would like to do is to add a page which would list only those blogs that haven't been updated in a year or more.
And, thank Ariel for the modified look!
Calie xxx
Thanks for linking to my blog! I was wondering where all the hits were coming from!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're getting more hits, Dana!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping you'd list my blog. It's just a journal on my thoughts and feelings while I make the transition.
ReplyDeletehttp://lostwithnomaps.blogspot.com
Thanks,
Dana
Hi Dana! We have you listed. I wish you the best with your transition.
ReplyDeleteCalie xxx
Hi
ReplyDeleteIt would be lovely if I could get my blog added please.
http://justinehay.com
Many thanks
Hi Justine. I've listed your blog in our "People" section for now but we may move it to our "News Links" depending on the content. Nevertheless, it is listed. Thanks for the listing.
ReplyDeleteCalie xxx
Justine, I spoke too soon. You don't appear to have an RSS feed on your blog, so I have no way to list it such that it is updated on our site when you do an update.
ReplyDeleteCalie xxx
Willing to take a gamble on Miz Know-It-All?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm willing to gamble. Your on the list.
ReplyDeleteI'm a transitioning teacher writing on gender issues, feminism, and culture. I wouldn't mind being listed.
ReplyDeletetransscripts.blogspot.com
There y'go Rhiann, you should now find yourself on the list.
ReplyDeleteNow, why not celebrate by following our Twitter feed? :)
Hi, I am married to a trans and the parent of a trans. My blog is http://TransConfused.com. My spouse's blog is http://KimberlySedala.com/. My son/daughter isn't blogging yet, but I'm working on that to get all of our viewpoints.
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm the spouse of a trans and the parent of a trans. My blog is http://transconfused.com and my spouse's blog is http://kimberlysedala.com/ Still working on getting my son/daughter to blog so we have all the opinions :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Suzi!
ReplyDeleteBoth blogs have been added to our list. Best wishes to you and your family.
Calie xx
Hi, ladies!
ReplyDeleteI've recently stumbled onto 3 (!) blogs that may be of interest. The first is at candiussellcorner.blogspot.com, it's a joint blog written by Cynthia, a MTF, and Sevan, her androgyne spouce. The other 2 blogs are at myjourneymytransition.blogspot.com and particletracks.blogspot.com.
Dani xx
Hi Calle,
ReplyDeleteI was very honored to find my blog posts linked on T-Central, and I would love to continue to share my writing. Unfortunately, I had to relocate my journal for professional reasons, though I am still posting and still public.
The old blog was "In My Own Skin" by Kate DeLong at http://in-myown-skin.blogspot.com
The new site is "Living for the First Time, Again" at http://living-first.blogspot.com
Thank you for providing such a wonderful service to the trans community.
With Respect,
Kate DeLong
Hi Kate,
ReplyDeleteI made the changes. I'm sorry you had the professional pressure...
Calie xx
Hi Dani,
ReplyDeleteAll of the blogs you mentioned have been listed. I asked all of the blog authors for permission to list, hence the delay in responding.
Thanks so much, Dani, for your recommendations.
Calie
Thank you, Calie, I'm glad that I could contribute something!
ReplyDeleteDani xx
I have moved my TS/IS Liberation blog from blogspot to my own site. Can you please list it? Thank you so much for your consideration.
ReplyDeletehttp://ts-is-liberation.org/blog
I made the change, Dana. Now, keep on blogging!
ReplyDeleteCalie
You feature one or two, three, obvious bigots. You re-instated Anne's odious blog. And Jenny asserted you were the BBC of the community.
ReplyDeleteI think the very least you can do is highlight Common Teri's little blog, "The Official Transgender Borg Collective".
So? Will you?
Carolyn Ann
If the blog meets the standards, above, and we have the blog owner's OK, it will get listed.
ReplyDeleteSo many blogs start out with one post or two and then die. For that reason, we wait until it has about a month's worth of posts prior to listing it.
Hi T-Central! I see my feed is posting all activity from my site and was wondering of it can be changed to this:
ReplyDeletehttp://feeds.feedburner.com/TS-IS-Liberation
For my blog at http://www.ts-is-liberation.org/blog/
Thank you for hosting my feed!
Hi Dana! It should be OK now.
ReplyDeleteCalie xx
Hi everybody,
ReplyDeleteI hope this is the right section...
My blog Paper Wilderness is in your blog roll, and a few days ago I decided to put it on private, for invited people only.
Sadly enough, because I'd love to keep it avaiable for the trans community. But I don't really see a way to blog without the WHOLE world watching. And some things are really private.
I already announced that I'm happy to list you all as readers, you just need to let me know your mail adress.
But this also means that I can't be on the blog roll anymore (I suppose).
Other solutions/ideas are welcome, too.
yours
Kix
I hate to lose your blog from our list, but I do understand, Kix. We've taken it off of the list. If you can send me a private email, with the blog details, I would like to subscribe. tiresias at hushmail dot com.
ReplyDeleteCalie
Hey Calie:
ReplyDeleteFor some reason my blog Face value Report is no longer listed with T-Central. Have I committed an infraction?
Kathryn
I'm unaware of anything untoward. I'll have a look, see what's up.
ReplyDelete...and indeed there seems to be an issue with that part of Blogger ATM. Normal service will (probably) be resumed...
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenny...
ReplyDeleteI have been writing in this blog for several months now. I'm wondering if it may be something people would like to read. Could some one take a look to see if it fits your standards?
ReplyDeletehttp://newwomannewlife.blogspot.com/
Thank you
Not sure if you might be interested in adding my blog... but in case...
ReplyDeletehttp://christenbustani.blogspot.com
Hi LeAnne! I listed your blog a few days ago.
ReplyDeleteCalie xx
Hi Christen!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful layout! Of course we want to list your blog and it's done!
Calie xx
Hi There! I was wondering if you would like to add my blog to your list. I am the spouse of a recently transgendered MTF. We have been married for over 25 years and needless to say this is a new adventure for me. I started my blog because I wanted to be a part of this community and need support and caring from those who understand my new world. I look forward to hearing from you!
ReplyDeleteHi Lucy! With pleasure, we have added your blog to our list.
ReplyDeleteCalie xx
Hi
ReplyDeleteI would be grateful if you could include my blog in your links.

Love Em x
Hi Emma, of course I'd list your blog, but it's already there! It's currently down the list, 5 days ago, but it does show the latest post, which was yesterday. Not sure what is going on, but watch it and let me know if there is an issue.

I'm a trans man and I blog in several places. My personal blog on LiveJournal is Strong Meat (likethewatch.livejournal.com) and I've been writing there for over ten years. My other trans-related blog is called One in Six Trans Men (justincascio.wordpress.com).

Hi Gayle! Your listed!
ReplyDeleteCalie
Okay, I've been blogging for a while now, so here's mine for your consideration:
ReplyDeletehttp://malefemme.blogspot.com/
It's a cross-dressing blog, but theorizing this in personal terms as femme rather than trans.
Consequently, I post under a male rather than female name, though I can supply one on request ;)
Gotcha covered, Jonathan!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'd like my blog http://changeville.blogspot.com to be linked.
ReplyDeleteI also published a trans blog since '09 at http://sugarandmedicine.wordpress.com which is not currently active but the archive is still there.
Cheers, Kahlan
Hi Kahlan, your blogs are listed.

@Gwen - Blogger currently has a known bug which is preventing us and many other large blog sites from adding or deleting blogs to our list. We're told this will be fixed so. As soon as it is, I'll add your blog to the list.
ReplyDelete@Lorax - For now, you're listed in the "Other Stuff" section. When the bug is fixed, I'll move you to the "Personal" blog list.
Calie

Thanks Samantha x
Samantha, Gwen, and others...
DeleteWe're still stuck with a Blogger bug that will not let us add or delete blogs. There is quite a long list of complaints filed by other bloggers and the Google Blogger folks are supposedly working on the fix. The problem is somehow associated with Blogger's new look.
There is a work-around, which involves killing the current list and creating three lists out of it. This will be very labor intensive but I may have to do this if Blogger doesn't get their act together soon.
I'm so sorry for the delay but once we have this fixed, you can be assured that your blogs will be listed.
Calie
We've rebuilt the blog list. All blogs should now be listed.
DeleteHello... have been writing a blog for a few months now, and who knows, perhaps someone would benefit from it...

Hi, I've been writing "Transformative Honeymoons" for a while, and I will be shelving
ReplyDeletethat blog. I've started a new blog "Who's the new girl?"
http://whosthenewgirl.blogspot.com/ and I'd appreciate it if you could include it

@Stacy - You have been listed for a while now. Forgot to reply here.
Delete@Nadine - Got you listed!
Calie xx
Sorry Calie I was unclear on what I was asking from you -
DeleteI will no longer be posting to Transformative Honeymoons
( http://transformative-honeymoons.blogspot.com/ )
so you can remove that blog from your list.
I do appreciate the readers listing here has
brought to the blog.
I will be posting to my new blog
"Who's the new girl?" on a regular basis
about a worker retraining program I have entered,
presenting myself as a trans-woman. I was hoping
that you would list this new blog in place of the
old blog - Thanks,
Please consider adding me to your list of ''T'' people. I would very much like to share my thoughts and experiences of my life and transition with all of your readers. Thanks.

Hi Charlotte! Got you covered!!!
ReplyDeleteCalie xx
Hey there!
ReplyDeleteI've been blogging for over a year at http://ladyinwaitingblog.wordpress.com and just found out about your wonderful site today! I transitioned at 19, am 26 now, pursuing a degree in communications. I do public speeches and trainings for organizations such as DYFS in the tri-state area about trans-sensitivity and my own experiences in conjunction with a GLBT organization I work with. On my blog I write about a whole bunch of random topics, but try to stick with tg-themed stuff for the most part. I'd be honored if you'd include me on your listing!
~Miranda
I Miranda! Love your name! Jealous of your early transition! You're listed, girl.
ReplyDeleteCalie
Hey! I've just started a blog with a strong Non-Op theme. Check it out if you're interested. I plan to update often.

Fata, we generally do not list blogs with just a single post up. I'm going to go ahead and list it, however, since you are a writer. Please keep writing. You have a story to tell and others are going to want to read it.
ReplyDeleteCalie

Hey! I have a blog called An Unexpected Queerdom which is about my journey and experiences with gender and sexuality. I am a queer cis-female, but I am dating a girl who identifies as genderqueer. I started this blog to write about her journey with transitioning, my feeling about being in a relationship with somebody who is trans*, and my own journey to discover my own sexuality and gender identity/presentation. When my girlfriend and I started dating, and still to this day I have found myself constantly doing research and looking for resources so I can better understand myself and my girlfriend. One thing that has seemed lacking are resources from the SOFFA perspective, and I want to add to this conversation. I hope you add my blog to your great list of resources.
ReplyDeleteThe url is:

Hi
ReplyDeleteI moved my blog "Angie's Aspirations" from WordPress to Blogger a few months ago. I notice that the old blog is gradually descending towards cobweb corner, as these days it just has a link to the new one. However, the new one is alive and kicking and it would be lovely to have it listed here.

ReplyDeleteThank you for this resource...I am going to go read (a lot) right now!
Thank you so much for allowing us to post your blog. Trans kids have a special place in my heart.

Hello! My wife and I have dedicated our site everythingtrans.com to focus on transgender, relationship, and fashion topics. Our goal to bring the LGBTQIA closer together through gender expression and help others find a healthy way to express their trans qualities.

I'm hoping to have my blog added to T central. my original atempt at a blog "Roannes Hug Central" has been discontinued, although it is still sitting there.http://trans-illuminations.blogspot.com/ has been my active blog now for a number of years. I was online friends with Lori when she started this site. Thank you for you time. Hugs. Roanne
ReplyDeleteHi Roanne! I tried to add your blog to the main "The People" section and Blogger came back and said that your blog had no "feed". That should be easy for you to fix. Send me an email if you do. calietg@gmail.com For now, it's listed on the right side of the page under Trans Links - General. You want it listed on the main list, so add the feed.
ReplyDeleteHi.I have a blog that your readers might like. lisa73rhodes.wordpress.com Thanks.

Hi, I sent a comment but it doesn't look like it published, so I apologize if I posted twice. I have a blog in Spanish that maybe you could add to the non-English blogs list. It's mostly for trans men but there's general information that applies to trans women as well. I post about medical transition, legal transition in my country, my own experiences, videos and news articles I find from other sites, and other stuff. I try to post something every week. The link is transexualidadftm.blogspot.com. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI've got it listed. I may move these non-English blogs into the main section. Google translate is getting so good now. I was easily able to see your content with the translation feature. Always nice to see FtM blogs. You'll note that we do have several listed..
DeleteHi, I started making a blog a while ago I would like to share my experiences with people so if you could add me I'd be really honored :) http://alicethekitten.blogspot.nl Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHi, I started my blog several months ago and have accumulated a decent readership. I blog about my transition and other related transgender topics (media, politics, queer theory, etc.) and I usually update it at least twice a week, if not more. It would be amazing if you added me to your list. Thanks!
ReplyDelete-Emma
Hi Alice and Emma!
ReplyDeleteI have both of your blogs listed. Thanks for the listings!
Calie
I created a blog a month ago, I don't have much of a following, but it's updated often. I'm a non-transitioning, sigh, transgender, so I try to keep my topics within that realm. I'm hopeful that this is as helpful to others as I would like to it be for me. I would appreciate your listing me, thanks. It's called "Right Brain Wrong Body" http://rbwb.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteHi, could you list my blog please? I had a popular blog listed here a while a go (Danielle's not so Secret Diary), I'm back to talk about my transition and I do post regularly. Thank you!

Hi Dani. Sorry for the late reply. You're listed.

The Transcend Movement is a web space for transgender people of all persuasions, including crossdreamers, transsexuals, and gender nonconforming.
ReplyDeleteHip gender surfers come to listen to legendary downtempo DJ, Transcend, get style advice from Electra L or to seek out philosopher, Felix Conrad. Enjoy!

I looked at your site. Got you listed under Trans Links. Let me know if there is a blog on the site I can link to also.

T-Central is such a valuable resource for the trans community, but I have to ask: Did you folks actually read 4thWaveNow before listing it?
ReplyDeleteAnon - Thanks for the comment about T-Central.
DeleteRegarding 4th Wave, we try to list any non-porn trans related blogs. The only problem I have is that I listed it under the "Personal Thoughts" section when it is much better suited for the "Opposing Opinions" section over on the lower right of the page. There some blogs that we have listed that I don't necessarily agree with, but I feel that there is a place for these blogs on T-Central.
Halle, Jenny and I never delete a blog without discussion and since you have brought it up, I'll discuss with them. If the majority wants it off, it will go away.
I really do thank you for the comments. I'm not sure why I didn't put it in the "Opposing Opinions" section in the first place.
Calie
I have been going about 45 days. Committed.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.rhondasescape.com/ please link my blog - Rhonda's Escape

Hi I am Natalie Ash,
ReplyDeleteI have a blog called Natalie's Rainbow. The URL is http://nataliesrainbow.com/ I write articles about whatever catches my eye. While it is an LGBT site, not everything is LGBT related. I can only move from the position of a trans-woman, but I do accept guest authors. I am asking you to list me, as I have not seen my listing anywhere here.
With Love,
Natalie

Hi Calie,

This is such a great resource! I was trying a Google search for sites about transgender issues, but so many are not up to date. I've had multiple tabs open in my browser trying to hop from one place to another - so much so that my browser crashed. LOL But, your list is fabulous and fixes that problem. My browser thanks you. :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'd love a link back to my site. I'm a mom to a FTM 17-year-old teenager (out just about 6 months now) and post about it on my blog.

Thank you!
I am in awe of the talent and diversity that this area pulls together and would love to be considered part of the site. Ive just started to ‘blog’ but have a lot to say - but not all at once!
ReplyDeleteI’m a long term non-op Trans woman, who has wide ranging interests, and will be looking to post light hearted annodotes on my life, interest and experiences.

Hi Robin, Priya and Dawn. I have been rather remiss in replying. All of your blogs are listed on TC.

Take a look at birdy's new blog. She may be demanding of her readers, but she has lived a fascinating life that brings with a lot of interesting perspectives.

Hi everyone, I was given the link to this site by a friend suggesting that it may be good to get my blog listed here. I write as it's my personal therapy and hope that it may help others in the passage through a complex life. Born in London, England, I write in a heart on the sleeve style from my life experiences from my earliest memories to the present day where I now live in France. This is no easy choice in life, but one I need to follow with a passion.
ReplyDeleteSophie
Hi Sophie! I'd love to list your blog, but I need the link!
